Price guides are a rough guide of what an item is expected to be auctioned at, based on what is a similar item sold for at a previous auction in recent sales. Retail prices would be expected to be considerably higher. The price guides are not inflated prices. Although it contains seller's reserve prices, the price guide is a realistic guide to the auction value of the item. It can obviously sell at lower prices.
We understand that life is busy. We have made it as easy as possible to stay in the auction action! We are cataloguing as many as 16 items in some auctions, which means that we are not able to put up all lots for the auction. Once 20-30 lots have been put up for auction, we open up customer request service. This allows you to ask for an item to be brought forward so that you can bid on it sooner. Alternatively, an absentee bid can also be organized. The number of requests by a customer may be limited. Please speak to any of the staff when you want to request an item to be brought forward.
At Kimberley Auctions, we only sell natural gemstones. While some gemstones may have been improved through industry-accepted treatments such as heat treatment, we will never sell laser drilled or fracture-filled diamonds, or lead glass-filled rubies. KA is proud to its quality and natural gemstones.
Kimberley Auctions sales will attract a buyer's premium of 16.5% (GST inclusive).
